Dino....

This is Leo's Dino hat...a work in progress. He has big ideas for his hat... First I was going to make a hat to match his brothers hat....

Leo: "no mommy, that is just not colorful enough for me."
Ok...so I made him a colorful hat out of Cobble Stone yarn (Lovely yarn!!!)...

Leo: "It's just a little boring....I think it needs dinosaur spikes. Lot of dinosaur spikes."
Ok...So now it has spikes...and it will have a tail that has "two pointy triangles on the ends with spikes going all the way down "

This boy needs to start knitting his own designs!!! :)

It's done!!

My tee-shirt I knit during the knit along is done!! Just in time for summer... I LOVE IT!!

Lot of events!!!

We were lucky to have to very talented women from New England come and teach some classes last weekend
Rose Ann Hunter taught a wool bead class. Creativity was flowing. Not only did people make great jewelry, here is a cute purse handle.
Leslie Wind brought along her hammer and metal and taught us how to make our own shawl pins. She had lots of her amazing work on display..shawl pins, cable needle necklaces, and other gorgeous jewelry.

Don't worry, if you missed these wonderful women they may be back in the fall. Keep you posted!

Schaefer Yarn Party was a Blast!! All that beautiful hand dyed yarn...who could want for more...

I am having a hard time deciding... I've narrowed it down to these three. What do you think?

Noni

While at the knit and crochet show I had the opportunity to meet the designer and owner of the Noni Pattern Company. Nora is not only a very talented designer/knitter, but a lovely person as well. After seeing all of her beautiful bags I came home with lots of loot!! There are tons of handles and patterns to choose from. You can either make the bags felted or not...

I made mine with this yarn (non-felted), Once it is lined I will take a picture....
